It is a custom shape that was designed by the interior designer and Architect. I wouldn't say the shape has a name per se. Thanks for asking!

This was a project that we did for John Kraemer and Sons. John is correct, this upper tier was specially designed. However, creating a specially design top is relatively easy. We even have a program that allows you to see what the tops will look like before they are cut. If you have any other questions, please let us know.

If you wanted a general description to tell your fabricator (although you might just show them this picture), you could call it a radius with wings or a counter that looks like an arch sitting on a straight base. These are not official names of designs (because as mentioned they are custom designed), but may help you communicate to your fabricator the look you want.
