Copper countertops: Before and After use

Many people ask us what our copper countertops look like after use. These two sets of before and after are from the same kitchen. The copper started with a matte finish and was used for two years between pictures.

Notice that the brown color is dominant, spots are present, but not alarming and still contrasts nicely with the white cabinets.

These countertops were never polished or restored to their orange color. Just let them go and the color forms with use. See more at www.CopperCountertops.net

I think these would take a certain type of kitchen to look good but they do seem to wear perfectly fine.

Copper, zinc and brass surfaces do take a certain type of design and end user. We have shipped our surfaces all over America for homes, restaurants and bars.

One thing we stress with all of clients is setting clear expectations of how it will work. Rarely are people saying "contemporary" or "modern" when they talk to us. We are definitely hearing "rustic," "country french" or sometimes, "I hate granite." :)
