If it’s glued down it's my understanding that’s a huge nightmare to remove.

What exactly is wrong with the floor? Could we please see a picture?

AND what do you want instead? You just don't like the color or the product too?

We have glued down engineered wood floors. (BR - 111). My understanding, it a cheaper builder grade flooring. Has anyone had them removed? What is the process? Are they chiseled out? Is there a type of machine that breaks them up? Glue will have to be removed on concrete poured floor before new flooring put down. How is this accomplished? Costs?

Glued to WHAT? Call a flooring specialist. Let them look.

I think it was the most recent episode of fixer upper where chip used a power chisel to remove "hand scraped" engineered hardwood from concrete. He said it was a most dreaded task.

You're not the only one who doesn't like that style. I'd bite the bullet and remove them now with something less trendy with more longevity--medium tone oak, perhaps. Absolutely no grayed out wood tones or youre right back here in 5-10 years.

Rugs are your friends.

Depending on your location, the costs will vary, and depending on the costs of the new flooring. But ballpark for 1600 sq ft, for demo and new flooring, not including new baseboards would be about $20k.

Impossible to give an estimate. Removal cost depends on the install, what are you planning for the new floor, and your location.

Maybe use the existing flooring as an underlay to new vinyl flooring? Cheaper not to rip it out. Just a thought.
