LOL, I think the harvester got a bit lazy.... or the company is trying to make more money with the weight of stems and leafs.... I've seen the Leafs and stem clementines but never that big!

Since you are paying by the pound at the store, I would remove the greenery. If you don't graft, you shouldn't have to pay for what you are going to throw away.

Denise good tip, I hadn’t thought of them adding weight to the price! Luckily I didn’t buy any because I had already bought a ton of Golden Delicious apples before seeing the citrus.

Laura and sunshine, thank you! I’m not a grafter yet so the small stem I took home with me may be put to the rooting test lol. It almost worked last year until one of my cats broke a swelling bud! I’ll hide this one from them
