I love that Maximus as well. Only $1800. As an aside, if you do find one you really want, people on here are quite good at finding either the same for much less,($$) OR, a very similar one for way much less.

I love the idea of bringing in the gold through the first pendant you posted, but I much prefer rods to chains for a contemporary look. Probably a very personal preference as most design is! Have you checked out Shades of Light?

Kirsten, I totally understand the rods issue. It is hard ( at least for me ) to incorporate all aspects of the look. I know the chains lend themselves to a more industrial look that Is becoming more passé. And yes, I have looked at Shades of Light,.

Personally, I’m a fan of the industrial look also and am a huge proponent of doing what you like, regardless of whether it’s trendy. That being said, from a practical perspective, I like that it is more minimal, easier to match between fixtures, and easier to clean :)

Have you looked at Visual Comfort?

The Hicks pendants are from Visual Comfort. I bought the powder room and mudroom lights from them, as well.

Well, they hung the serge mouille reproduction. Still deciding. Below is a better pic of space. The ceilings are 10ft. Also, here are some of the lights that I have been looking at. Am I way off?
