First unset the table unless you are having a meal very soon like in the next 3 hrs. As for art that is a personal thing so keep looking until you see something you love , but never leave a table set in a home the only thing that belongs on the table everyday is the center piece.

Nothing on the wall ...you have too many nic-nac,s on the table ..I would de clutter the room and perhaps change the lamp for a chandelier ...especially since you have that gorgeous mirror ..it would reflect ...and make it even more elegant ...besides a more elegant centerpiece ...like an orchid ..
Then one day change the color of the walls ...too drab ... , !
You have lovely furniture ..to have a cozy/ elegant dinner ..you need just a little tweak here and there . Less is more ..

You could always add a real palm.

Put a sconce, that matches your chandelier, on each side of the door.
