how about the TV to the right of the FP and turn the sectional so one side faces window?

Hey Shanna, here's an option for you. You would have to get rid of the sectional if you want to figure out a better layout as it really limits your options. This is a 3D mock up of your room and I've moved the TV to the wall opposite the porch doors. Your only other option is the put the TV over the fireplace. But i think this may work better if you get the right sized couch for your room. I'd also suggest you take down those shelves by the fireplace and add tall bookcases on either or both sides.

The easiest way to add color would be to get a nice rug and add pillows in colors that work with the rug. You could also reupholster the ottoman that you have in a different color or fabric to make it look more modern. Hope this helps.
