When you say stools, do you mean something without a back? What's important to you e.g. wood vs. upholstered? swivel? back or backless? What do you like or not like about hour current chairs? Beautiful kitchen BTW!

what exactly in this kitchen is farmhouse? It's a nice space, but it looks more like a transitional white kitchen. Even the lights aren't 'farm' style. Are you doing something different in here?

I was going to suggest Tolix...this lady sells them out of Ill, I've purchased through her before. Good experience. Also can you post the dining room farmhouse table? That would help with chair selection.

This would tie into the black accents already in the kitchen. I have the shorter Tolix chairs for my farmhouse table and put cushions on the seats.
