“Linder was the designer/architect on a transformation of my detached 2-car garage into a photography and exercise studio. He negotiated the complex requirements -- even more complex because it was in Palo Alto where there are a lot of rules -- and also was really sensitive to the look and the finishing touches. The result was award-winning, but the project itself was a pleasure because of Linder and his colleagues. Linder was also the designer/architect on an inhouse remodel done earlier in which we transformed a dining room that was a traffic choke point in the house into a great room which is now the place we spend most of our time. The room has a cathedral ceiling and great light. A great success.”

“Jennifer is an incredibly talented creative architect, but is unusually capable in the painful practical aspects of remodeling. She knows how to talk to contractors, deal with city permit processes, work with artistic kitchen designers, come up with creative solutions to seemingly impossible problems, and make sure you have what you need and want -- and things you didn't even know would be problems. We interviewed many architects for a difficult, challenging remodel, and she was heads above the others. She helped us deal with the countless inevitable problems that come up in remodeling, worked closely with the contractor, and saw the project through to completion. I can't imagine ever working with another architect, she's exceptional in all aspects.”

“We worked with Davide Giannella, who is an Italian and the principal, on a house expansion of over 800SF. The house was a ranch home. Davide designed an elevated roof with clerestory windows for the new family room, added two bedrooms and one bathroom, and re-designed the front and back yards so that we have a flagstone terrace with concrete benches and outdoor kitchen. I found him a good listener, with creative solutions, and effortlessly blends the client's requirement and taste with what is modern and classy. I also found that he is a master of light. He strategically positions skylights and clerestory windows so that our interior is bathed in light. He gives great style recommendations about interior, furniture placement, color and lighting. We can ask him about almost everything. He has a wholistic vision and the skills and taste to bring it to life. His plans are one of the most detailed many of our contractors have seen. We consider ourselves lucky to work with him and the money well spent.”
