Oak cabinets in good shape will never go out of style. Would keep them original -- unless you want/need to change the hardware only ... such as to stainless steel with smooth finish to replace something too ornate and/or uncomfortable to hold.

Thank you very much. They are in good shape. Even the fridge and freezer are oak fronts. My children said they were outdated so thats why i was asking.

Even when brand new, travel trailer interiors are usually several years out of style! But oak is always popular. I'd update fabrics (they're usually not great) before messing with the cabinets. A good rug and some new kitchen towels are all you really need if you want an easy change.

Keep the kids in a tent. Problem solved!

Oak may be in style but not the oak you are talking about. One of the most asked question on here is "How do I update my "Honey Oak" cabinets. Your kids aren't wrong but only you know if it's worth the investment to update.

I think we need to see the trailer. IMO its a holiday trailer as long as it is easy to keep clean you don’t need to do anything, just enjoy it. I hate oak but I have used my in laws travel trailer and enjoyed it oak and all.

Often, today’s travel trailer kitchen cabinets are white. I have a older travel trailer whose interior is wood, when someone “new” sees the inside of my trailer, they often comment about the wood. When I see their trailer, I seldom see wood. Wood is probably too heavy and expensive to work with with today’s technology.

I've rather liking your renovation. Am not usually fond of highly patterned backsplashes but this one is rather appealing. Your cabinetry definitely looks updated. Good job!
