I have seen a ton of “rules” for pendant lights over an island, but I can’t find anything for a peninsula with a cabinet on the wall side. We have an 8.25’ peninsula and we’re planning two 12.5” wide lantern style pendants. The wall cabinet is a standard 12 inches deep. Would I take the counter length, subtract the 12 inches for the cabinet, and then space them equally on the rest? Or would I subtract two feet for the perpendicular counter depth and then center in the rest?
