Oh man, are you pretty confident? Ugh, this is so nerve wracking! She’s planted within 4-5 feet of several other roses and would hate to lose them all.

My Oso Easy Peasy also has red tips on a lot of her leaves. If this isn’t RRD, could this be something else afflicting her? I’ll try to post a picture of the foliage...

Did you have a cold snap recently? That could explain the first photos.

Well, things have been getting chilly but the coldest we’ve gotten down to is 44 and that was this morning. Could slightly cooler temps cause this?

Could just be a burst of new growth that hasn’t caught up to itself yet . That happens ! The temps also . I think it looks fine , this time of year things do start to change how they grow

The "burnt" tips could be fertilizer burn. Diane

Not RRD! Looks like healthy new growth that will green up as it matures. In the fall when the temps start to drop you will notice that the roses start to slow down some. Growth takes longer to mature and blooms take longer to open than they would in the high heat of summer. It's very normal. As for the tips, any number of things can cause a little leaf burn. It doesn't look like anything to worry about.

Thank you everyone! I feel a little ridiculous for panicking so quickly. Ha! Thanks for patiently explaining that it’s not RRD and that the red tips aren’t necessarily a sign of virus.

Not to worry. Even some older timers panic when they see signs. I would suggest you do some research and familiarize yourself with pics of the symptoms so you won't panic next time. No one needs that stress these days. My standard advice to newbies is, relax! Roses are way tougher than we give them credit for. Spend less time worrying and fussing and more time enjoying your roses!
