Leaning towards a 48” cooktop or a 48” range versus smaller sizes

there is an on going discussion of ZLine now - and it aint good. Not much on Thor. I would see where service is available in your area for any of the units you are looking at. Everything breaks once in a while.and if service is 8 hours away there will be a problem.

The Italian ranges seem to be in the same boat as well - be careful.

I heard the same from an appliance store that Zline, Thor and Kucht are difficult to get service in east TN...so went with a GE and will save to purchase a Viking or wolf

I have had a Viking Gas Range and a GE. I prefer the GE because of self cleaning oven, oven shelves glide nicely and the variety of different sized burners. My experience is that Viking is way over rated and in Arizona service is next to impossible!
