I personally love the idea of open shelving in bathrooms, but if you could post a picture, I'm sure you would get better responses from folks on here.

Is it for display or function?

Just posted a couple photos! they're very deep, so I'd love to use them for storage to some extent, but definitely don't need to fill them completely with storage stuff. we have a large vanity on the other wall with lots of storage as well.
