I used Benjamin Moore's Aura Grand Entrance high gloss for our dark red front door after watching a video about it (video done by young house love). I think glossy blue front doors are gorgeous.

I think semi gloss

I use satin or eggshell. I dont care for too much sheen. That is a personal decision.

Sheen is a personal preference. I prefer semi gloss on my exterior doors. I love the Hudson Bay Blue above.
