Aged Barrel, Ebony, Jacobean, Dark Walnut mixes on Red Oak Flooring

I’ve spent MONTHS pouring over Houzz, Pinterest, YouTube and the Internet in genera trying to decide on a stain for my red oak hardwood flooring. I just picked the stain today (surprisingly, 1 coat of Ebony, which wasn’t on my radar), but thought maybe seeing some of these on the floor would help someone else. I’ll post pics of my Ebony-stained floors once complete in about a week.

We're about to do Aged Barrel, so thanks for the samples. Just a word of advice -- make sure everyone on the crew, especially the guy who show up on staining day, know that you want one coat and only one coat. Ask how I learned that one...

We were about to do aged barrell but seeing one coat of ebony, I'm rethinking my plan. How did it turn out? Do you have a picture of finished floors?

I was sure that we were going to choose Aged Barrel -- until the samples went down and it gave off an unpredictable rainbow of hues on our very old boards. @kara0303 the ebony is beautiful - congrats! Can't wait to see your final photos. I wish we'd tried it, too, but just decided on Espresso mixed with gray.

Looks phenomonal! Did your floors have any dark spots before redinaihed them? If so, did the one coat sudfico cover?
