We’re renovating our home office and I’d like my desk in the center of the room on an area rug. We have power on all four walls but are hesitant to cut through the hardwood and pull it up for a floor receptacle- only because it’s our forever home and that room may not always function as an office. I’d be okay with cutting the area rug. Any thoughts on how to get power to the desk cleanly? Maybe something I’m unaware of to disguise a thin extension cord? Im waiting on an executive desk which will hide anything from the floor to the desktop.
