Fix for minor sun fade on light red oak floors?

We took up our ruggable, which we’ve had for less than 2 years, and it seems like the sun faded our red oak floor by the window (or the ruggable pad reacted with the top coat). The circular line is only visible near the window so we think it’s sun fade—South exposure. We also tinted our windows less than a year ago to block UV and didn’t notice the issue until now.

This is in our breakfast area, and we have wood that runs the whole first floor with no real breaks. Is there a fix that doesn’t require us to refinish our entire first floor? The fade is minor (pictures attached) but my husband doesn’t want to just put the rug back and live with it. I don’t think removing the rug would even it out either since we now have UV tint on the windows.

The finish is water-based Bona with a very light stain called neutral. We refinished the floors in late 2020 and they are otherwise in good condition. Any advice is appreciated.
