We just got our new refrigerator and range and looking into ways to prevent scratching. It's more applicable for the range since there is a decent sized flat stainless area in front of the glass induction cooking area. I'd like to prevent scratches due to accidentally dragging a pan or something across it.

Has anyone done a PPF film (or similar) on their appliances to protect the finish? How did it turn out and what were some of the pro's and con's in your decision? Where did you find someone to do it and what did you ask for?
