Hi, Dianne, , Berry,
Yes, spider mites; although I read about red mites, toioz I rescued all the roses & they are under grow lights in the kitchen now . They look better. i pruned all 12 roses & removed sll leaves., I plan to clean/treat them daily and they will stay in the cool kitchen until spring.
It’s dark outside, 8pm now and weatger says it’s 29F. It saud it was 29F at 2:00om today, but itcwS really warmer! Guess weather report is incorrect! I am putting a thermoeter in the kitchen for the rioses
I ought to put another thermometer on the rose kitchen porch-the roses are very happy there. And maybe a thermometer outside so I will know the real temps!
UPDATE: I just checked, kitchen thermometer is 55F. I’m cooling it more. I read tgat ubder 50 F they dont grow as much & below freezing may die. I know mites dont like my kitchen on other roses. Hope mites all die in kitchen.
As soon as spring comes , when outsude, the rain gets rid of mites.
The roses have healthy canes. Hope they rejuvenate.
Berry, Ha, ha ha! Mischievous goats! Are you sure the cat isn’t mischievious , too?
