Displayed at the International Architectural exhibition “Buildings by Hands”, The Gallery of the Prince’s Foundation for Building Community London, UK. The site is located at the edge of the Asheville NC. Inspired by the finest examples of domestic alpine architecture, this house is a successful example of the design of new rural estates that can successfully balance cost effectiveness with commercial viability and attractive, high quality design. The typical charcteristics of this house is its inherent simplicity that comes with a sophisticated elegance achieved with an appropriate use of three natural materials: stucco, wood and stone A large central fireplace warms up both the living room and the dining room, two large arched French Patio doors illuminate the living room is the master bedroom opening up to the view of the beautiful woods of North Carolina.
