Opposite the bed sits a one-of-a-kind vintage chair upholstered in Robert Allen Design fabric. Purchased on Chairish, this vintage piece was redesigned by Revitaliste, who reupholstered the chair and painted the wood frame hot pink lacquer. The chair also has a custom green pillow in Robert Allen’s malachite-inspired fabric and glass bead trim. The chair rests on a vintage sheepskin throw for a bohemian feel. A stately Betsy dresser from Quintus accessorized with pieces from Anthem SF offers ample storage space. An abstract wooden wall sculpture by artist Jeremy Holmes, provided by Simon Breitbard Fine Arts, white floor lamp from Aesthetic Décor provided by HEWN, and a vintage bronze base side table complete the look. To create a cheerful bedroom that truly captured the joie-de-vivre of girlhood, we wanted to design a one-of-a-kind ceiling treatment. Flavor Paper’s multi-colored geometric Cuben wallpaper provides the room with an unexpected touch that urges guests to look up. Our client had a storage problem. How do you storage almost every game on the planet as well as have pool cue and ping pong table top storage, and additional seating? We designed this custom built in to accommodate it all. The ping pong table top is hidden in a secret compartment behind and accessed from the right side of the cabinet. This cabinet is painted Tango Orange with a light brown glaze.

Tween renovated room in a historic Kansas City house. The space was originally designed as a servant's quarters. By removing an unused staircase and pushing the walls back we were able to double the size of the bedroom.
