One of the details added to the makeup vanity was this lovely chair. The wood frame was painted black and this beautiful white and turquoise fabric was used to reupholster the seat and back. The finishing touch was the nail head trim applied to the seat bottom and along the perimeter of the back. Details matter. Designed by Ann Runde Interiors

Proving that even a compact master bathroom design can benefit from thinking outside the box, this Grand Ledge bathroom remodel converted an adjacent closet to create a larger bathroom. The addition of a sliding barn door fits the space perfectly and adds an element of rustic style to the design. Aristokraft rich dark maple cabinetry is beautifully contrasted by a white SSU quartz countertop and Jeffrey Alexander hardware. A framed mirror matches the wood finish of the cabinetry, and the faucet and accessories complement the hardware finish, pulling together the style of this space. The cabinetry incorporates a hanging cabinet over the toilet for extra storage. The shower has a luxurious contemporary glass shower door, and includes recessed storage niches. Olympia Tile flooring pairs with Virginia Tile shower tile including a glass mosaic tile border that matches the backsplash. This compact space is packed with style and storage!

This also experienced a swift change: walls went from yellow to Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter and white towels and simple art was brought in. Totally refreshing and compliments the bedroom as this color is pretty much the same as the drapes. An excellent color day or night.

The oversized free standing master vanity was created using Ikea kitchen cabinets on legs, the granite is the left over piece from the kitchen countertop, as are the glass mosaic tiles. Mirrors are from Ikea. Using "left overs" wisely is being sustainable. D Bentley

Gutted this shower and water closet floor. Installed new Delta fixtures with an adjustable hand-held shower on a bar. Installed a hinged teak bench in the shower. Frameless glass shower door. Porcelain tile laid in a brick style pattern with a glass/stone mosaic band. New Kohler toilet and baseboard. Installed a new LED light/fan in shower ceiling.
