Contemporary Dining Room, DC Metro
Wrought iron brackets support floating swags and side panels in this Italian influenced contemporary dining room. You cannot achieve this look by simply draping a continuous piece of fabric around brackets. Each swag of fabric ( the curved smile shaped sections) is bias cut, and sewn together. The side panels are puddled so that with the extra length, they can be flared out to compensate for how narrow they are at the top.
