Tom HowleyThis beautiful light blue kitchen adds a unique twist to our classic Hartford style. Our Iris paint adds just the right amount of colour to show personality without becoming overwhelming, picking out key details such as the beaded frames and delicately carved cornice. The Falcon Deluxe range cooker, in its new colour of Blue Nickel, completes the look for a perfectly coordinated kitchen.
The bespoke kitchen island has been hand-finished in Tom Howley’s Iris paint, with a Silestone Yukon work surface precision-cut to the custom dimensions. We included the Dusted Oak base to provide a touch of contrast and additional convenient storage.

Luxmoore & CoWe were commissioned to design and build their kitchen, a dining table and kitchen dresser within a large family space, as well as other bespoke furniture throughout the rest of the property.
Facing the rear, this big open plan area has huge glass doors that afford extensive views of the riverfront and beyond.
Our client says, “We decided to go with Luxmoore & Co as they demonstrated that they really understood our brief. Their design was great and the fact that they use timber that they have sourced within 20 miles of our property was a real selling point for us”.
They said, “I can’t believe the island looks as beautiful, well actually far better than I ever imagined. Your insight, experience and advice has been crucial to making it such a beautiful kitchen”.
The client added, “the taps look absolutely stunning…. I never knew a tap could be beautiful before!”
Making Wood Workthe cupboards, drawer fronts and extending table (out of shoot) are all veneered maple from the same log, the framing behind is european oak. Beneath the stairs is an integrated fridge freezer, the floor standing boiler, mircowave, kickspace heater and seven storage pull outs topped off with the wine rack. The unit to the left of the range can be wheeled out to gain full access to the boiler

Italian Black Basalt stone shelving lines the walls resting on Acero stone brackets, a detail repeated on bench seats in front of the windows between glazed crockery cabinets. The table was made in solid English oak with turned legs. The project’s special details include inset LED strip lighting rebated into the underside of the stone shelves, wired invisibly through the stone brackets.
Primary materials: Hand painted Sapele; Italian Black Basalt; Acero limestone; English oak; Lefroy Brooks white brick tiles; antique brass, nickel and pewter ironmongery.

The project’s special details include inset LED strip lighting rebated into the underside of the stone shelves, wired invisibly through the stone brackets.

The Farrow & Ball Chappell Green on the wall cabinets is illuminated by the LED strip light. A cream Rayburn with tray space to the right provides warmth for Toffee the dog.
