We are looking to do just this in our new Glen Ellyn home. I don't believe however we have the wall space behind to spare. We are getting a Wolf range. Do you see an issue with installing the range out a few inches to give us a similar shelf? There are ranges (i.e., Thermador Pro) that stick out a couple of inches and look okay. Thoughts? Thank you. Would have loved to hire you to help with our home but only discovered your beautiful work after we were well into the project.
