Our clients had a vision to turn this completely empty second story store front in downtown Beloit, WI into their home. The space now includes a bedroom, kitchen, living room, laundry room, office, powder room, master bathroom and a solarium. Luxury vinyl plank flooring was installed throughout the home and quartz countertops were installed in the bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room. Brick walls were left exposed adding historical charm to this beautiful home and a solarium provides the perfect place to quietly sit and enjoy the views of the downtown below. Making this rehabilitation even more exciting, the Downtown Beloit Association presented our clients with two awards, Best Fascade Rehabilitation over $15,000 and Best Upper Floor Development! We couldn’t be more proud!

We decided to place the shower location directly under our clients' existing skylight. A major goal of this project was to incorporate a lot of natural light. Having a skylight in the shower is a great way to bring in light but still have your privacy. Photo Credit: Mike Irby

We gutted an existing master bedroom to create a new master bath. We added the window and created display niches which nestled the tub area. Warm neutrals of creme marfil marble and onyx harlequin tile and indian cut lace beg to come and relax. Applied wood carvings complete the wood tub surround.

Rinse it out! The master bathroom has both a glass shower and a soaking tub. The walls are painted in Sherwin Williams Morris Room Grey with a flat finish (SW0037). The trim is painted in Sherwin Williams Shell White, Painters Edge Gloss (PE2100051).

This timeless bathroom was renovated and designed by the team at Alfano Renovations. We increased the size of the shower by building it to be the same depth as the closet. The vanity cabinets are custom made with a painted finish and glaze and the counters are Caesarstone Quartz. In this bathroom remodeling project we incorporated a glass shower door with oil rubbed bronze frame. We used 6 x 6 ceramic tile for the walls 1 x 1 mosaic tile for the floor with a mosaic glass accent tile and bullnose tile at the edges of the window and walls. The grab bars are oil rubbed bronze. There is a retractable chair in the shower.
