Ray Miller started in the tile industry at the age of 18, where he worked closely with top contractors in the New York City area. With time, Ray developed immense passion for the industry and was motivated to start his own business. After moving to Florida, Ray started L&R Tile Design and Contractor Services. Ray has since been in business for over 28 years! He has worked on large scale jobs such as Building Facades, Bridges, Commercial Condominiums & Upper Scale Hotels in Manhattan. L&R Tile Design and Contractor Services has renovated several homes located in Manhattan, Long Island & Central Florida areas! Even though his specialty is Tile, Stone, Glass, & Marble Installation, his experience in the construction industry has lead him into General Contracting for all phases of Home repair & renovation. L & R Designed did a fantastic job on laying tile throughout our house. I had an impossible time finding a tile I liked and they sent me to the right place for beautiful tile.. It looks beautiful. As soon as I finish my kitchen remodel I will be using them for the bathrooms. They did a great job in a timely manor and kept me updated as it went. They are very good to work with.

Buyer beware! If you are looking for cheap. these are not your guys. IF you are looking for substandard work and poor quality. Again, not your guys.If you are looking for missed schedules and hollow contractor promises. Definitely not these people. BUT....... if you are looking for a fair, honest price with above average quality done on budget and on time then these are the people you want on your project. I can't say enough about Ray. The quality of work, the meticulous attention to detail, the obvious "art" of a fine craftsman, is embodied in every un-wasted movement of his work. I highly recommend these folks. You WILL NOT be disappointed!

Ray did a great job on the backsplash for our kitchen renovation. He kept the work area very neat and cleaned up during and after the project. The tile work looks beautiful! He also connected us with a professional carpenter to frame out new windows and oversize sliding glass doors. Ray was recommended to me and I will also recommend him to others for home renovation.

The job included floors, back door molding, kitchen, all new electric, a gorgeous floor-to-ceiling rain shower & fully renovated master bath & semi-renovated guest bath. We LOVED working with Ray & Joy, they found a way to make everything we wanted work. We 100% trust him & our dog made a new friend for life. My Husband & I were recommended by a friend of ours who had her Bathroom & Kitchen remodeled by L&R Tile Design back in May of 2015. We were price shopping & getting several estimates over the past year. We wanted to make the right decision so took a bit longer than most to make a choice with who to go with. I have to start by saying that Ray was the most professional, patient, and knowledgeable contractor by far compared to the other 5 contractor's that we met with. His price was very fair & his experience was the reason we hired him. Well he did an AMAZING JOB! I use to hate going into my bathroom in the mornings to get ready now my husband can get me out of it! Our kitchen looks incredible also! The attention to every detail & his neatness as he went along with the job was really wonderful! I am a neat freak! Needless to say we are THRILLED WITH OUR REMODEL THANKS TO L&R TILE DESIGN!

We were recommended Ray from L&R tile from a client of his when we were interested in adding backspash to the 3 bathrooms in our home. When Ray came over he suggested we convert our bathtubs into framless shower doors since the tubs are not used and our home is nearly 10 years old.. He had excellent ideas and was with us every step of the way from finding inspiration online, meeting up at a local floor&decor to choose the materials, and he then picked g up our purchased items instead of us having to transport the heavy materials in our vehicles. The finished work of our 3 frameless showers with decorative tile and mosaic backspash is picture perfect and what you see in highend luxury homes without the highend price tag!! Ray has been our go to contractor when we decided to do a faux stone wall in our family room 5 months later. And just recently we hired ray to add the faux stone to our kitchen island and kitchen backspash. He is amazing and will be our contractor for any projects we decide to do around our house and is always our #1 recommendation when friends want to remodel any part of their home!!!! Love Mr. Ray!!!!!! And his wife's amazing baked goodies he would bring over!!! =))
