This variety of Janet Craig is called a 'Compacta' due to it's small compact layering of leaves. The heads have a resemblance of the tops of pineapples and are very easy to maintain. This plant comes in a 12 inch professional plastic planter and stands 3 foot tall. It is elegant and fits nicely in any space.

The Compacta does well in low light and can handle small misses in watering on occasion. The Janet Craig Compacta is great plant for a minimal modern look that doesn't overwhelm, but adds to the design. Many designers use them in tighter spaces and areas that need a little pop. They are members of the Dracaena family and combo nicely with any of our other Janet Craig varieties.
