Mary Urban 'Lovely Llamas I' Canvas Art, 18"x18"by Trademark Fine Art
Growing up in the idyllic Vermont countryside, Mary was encouraged by family and teachers to be an artist. At 18, she moved to Boston to study graphic design at the Massachusetts College of Art. The lure of her peaceful country home was too much and she returned to open an organic coffee and tea house with her brother. "Coffee, tea and cafe culture has always been a great passion to me, as it tends to bring communities and fellow artists together for conversations and the bouncing of bold ideas."'Today, Mary is known for working in a variety of media and styles from illustrative to classic and more. Working outside surrounded by nature comes naturally, and she can often be found standing or sitting under a giant maple tree working on her next collection.
Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting.

Mike Jones Photo 'Grand Canyon near Mather Point' Canvas Art, 22x32by Trademark Fine Art(17)
Mike's love of photography started at age 10 when his father taught him how to use his old Pentax SLR camera. By the time he graduated high school, he had also graduated from his 35mm Pentax, to an old 4x5 Graflex camera. From the beginning, landscapes were his true passion. During Summer vacations in Maine, Mike would choose to climb around the rocky shore with a camera and tripod instead of shopping with his family in downtown Bar Harbor. He soon landed a job shooting photos for a local newspaper where he continued to work while studying photography in college.

Marion Rose 'Moving At Dusk' Canvas Art, 24 x 12by Trademark Fine Art(27)
Most days, one would find Marion Rose putting on her favorite music or playing an old video before settling in to paint for the day in her spacious studio, especially once the winter chill set in. Her work is influenced by past masters such as Joaquin Sorolla, Tom Thomson, Carl Rungius, Bob Kuhn, and many others that work today in a variety of subject and media. She also studied printmaking, life painting and drawing in college in her 30's. Her subjects come from her life of traveling enthusiastically as often as she could, both close to home or across the ocean. Sketching and studying animals were a favorite pastime, setting an excellent foundation for creating authentic work. Texture and richly colored paint applied generously by knife or brush strokes capture the essence of a subject's spirit and demeanor.

Elizabeth Urquhart 'Ombre Adventure II' Canvas Art, 30x47by Trademark Fine Art
Self-taught photographer Elizabeth Urquhart is inspired by nature and uses photography to capture the ever changing beauty of the outdoors. As a young girl in Canada, she spent countless hours in her mother's garden and at her family's cottage on the lake, soaking in the beauty of a summer's day. Today, while photographing and editing, she imagines her work hanging in her home and creates art she would love to decorate with. She creates calming simplified images by isolating one or two colors, using soft lighting and a narrow depth of focus, and applying texture during editing.

Kristy Rice 'Desert Rose Ii' Canvas Art, 24"x24"by Trademark Fine Art
Kristy Rice wears many hats: entrepreneur, mama, celebrity invitation designer, stylist, but her first love is watercolor painting. She began her art career humbly: hiding under the covers with a flashlight as a 6 year old girl who just wanted to make art, literally day and night. It was clear from the start that Kristy would make her mark on the world with a paintbrush. Kristy's watercolor flowers, bold patterns and expressive landscapes combine a certain textural realism with a distinctive juicy boldness that epitomize her love affair with watercolor and mixed media painting. Kristy's work, like her personality, is at times difficult to pin down. Her brushstrokes can ebb and flow from highly detailed and meticulous to free-flowing and boundless, all the while remaining captivating and unmistakable. For the last 14 years, Kristy's obsession with paint and paper has evolved into the innovative brand, Momental Designs. Kristy has transformed event stationery into a persuasive and compelling medium that garners global attention from media, celebrities and some of the world?s most creative individuals.

Many trips to China have fueled her desire to learn more about the art form, and have led her to create a living environment in the mountains of central California.

Marion Rose 'Bison Portrait II' Canvas Art, 14" x 14"by Trademark Fine Art(9)
