As a software engineer, I have worked on projects that have had several hundred pages of detailed requirements and specifications prior to the design and implementation phases. The cost estimates and budgets were extremely detailed. Jason listened and documented my requirements and specifications then developed three potential designs. I chose the closest one to my requirements which Jason refined and then produced a detailed budget. His design included features like the kitchen island that I original didn’t think would be possible. My new kitchen is both functional and beautiful. It was a pleasure to work with such a competent professional.

My husband and I are just about ready to begin the remodeling of our home, it was custom built in the 70’s and has some unique design challenges. We were looking for a design build firm and architect that would have the skills and resources to update our home without cutting corners. It was very important to us that the “existing square footage” was used efficiently to relocate our kitchen, redesign the master bedroom, bath, walk-in closet, guest bath, den and entryway without appearing awkward or wasting space. We are very happy with the design Jason Dorfman and his team at Marrokal Design and Remodeling developed for us. They listened to our “specific requests” and implemented them into our floor plans design. We are very eager to watch as our dream home comes alive, move back in to our new home and enjoy it with friends and family for many years to come.
