“There is only one word for Marg and that has to be "awesome"! We hired Marg for several projects in our home. She designed my 8 year old son's room in a skateboard theme, provided murals, magnetic boards (a huge skateboard), and made the room a perfect haven for an 8 year old. She also provided boards and designs for my 10 year old daughter and son. Both loved their rooms. Her latest project was our (tween)playroom (pics are posted). Her work is creative, on time, practical, and is truly one of a kind. From the large pencil light to the lego door knobs- she does it all! The kids practically live in the playroom now! We love Marg's work and always recommend her to friends. She can totally change the look of a room within any budget. “Five stars do not do enough justice for Renata and her wonderful work but the system does not allow for more! In our home she did a large mural at my daughter's room of the Aegean and Greek-island architecture. She was always polite and humble in her dealings with us, she went above & beyond with the detail so it comes to perfection, and literally speaking she brought a vivid part of Greece in our daily lives here in Canada! I attach some pictures because the end-result came even better than my wildest expectations. She was detailed and spent a bit more time on it, as she cannot settle with something which is not to her standards As she is also an architect, her work is more "involved/evolved" that "simply mural painting" and it shows. “When I moved into my new home I used the services of Heleh Dehlavi, of DecorAll for Artists to do my custom picture hanging. Ms. Dehlavi travelled from Richmond Hill to my home in Alliston Ontario. This is a one hour drive. Upon Ms. Dehlavi arrival she was shown how I wanted the set up of the 16 pictures I wanted her to hang. Within three hours the work was completed. “We worked with Bill and his team for about a year while we renovated a large historic home in Toronto. The home had lots of original stained and leaded glass that needed extensive restoration. There were also new stained glass windows required in many places which had to work with and be sympathetic to the existing glass and feel of the home. Bill made many site visits and interacted very well with the other trades (foreman, carpenters etc.) working on the house. He went above and beyond to source old glass to match some of the glass in windows that needed restoration. His designs for the new glass windows work perfectly with the old ones to the extent that people actually ask what is original and what is new. There were no surprises with Solarium. They came on site and discussed the project with us and then gave us a written quote. Once accepted they then worked on the designs which were sent to us for approval. We then met with them at their studio to approve the glass selections for the new windows. They then manufactured the glass panels and installed them at the house. Everything was done on schedule. From start to finish everything ran smoothly and professionally and they were an absolute pleasure to deal with. It is great to work with true artists and craftsmen. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to either restore existing stained glass or create new ones for their home.”
