“We met Amir Roth, owner of Custom Edge at a home show. We were in the process of a complete home renovation of a 1973 house and had not decided what to do with the kitchen. We liked the layout of our kitchen but everything was in pretty bad shape. We made an appointment with Amir, who promptly came out, on time, and discussed our options with us. He immediately got our style and what we wanted to achieve. We decided to keep the cabinet boxes, painting them inside and out, and have Amir replace the doors, drawer boxes, hardware and shelves. He made really helpful recommendations, like increasing the door size to create an uncluttered European look. He also replaced all of the scalloped or decorative trim with straight boards and trim. We scheduled the job over Christmas. It was delayed because I had selected a difficult paint to mix. Amir worked hard to identify a source for the paint I had picked out. He spent a lot of time on it. We started a bit late, but once started, the project was done on time and with much less mess and disruption than I had anticipated. We were able to use at least parts the kitchen through the whole process. It was quick. We had a few minor punch list items that Amir quickly took care of. Amir struck us as a craftsman, a real professional. He took the time to hang the doors correctly and get things lined up with our crooked and settled cabinets. The only thing I could complain about were some painted edges that were not perfectly straight (and which Amir said he would fix – but I told him not to worry, as I would do it). We are very happen with the way our kitchen turned out and would not hesitate to recommend Custom Edge.”

It is a small family run business with emphasis on product quality and customer satisfaction and retention. Greg and Mike are both perfectionists and will assure you of a quality installation. Most of the cabinets are made on site. Linda has many years of experience designing kitchens that work for the customer and are aesthetically pleasing. Every detail is addressed. Our kitchen was installed in 2010 and we are extremely happy with every aspect. Whenever we had a question, Greg or Mike were here and Linda also was present when her advice was needed. The project was completed in a timely manner with timely communication, drawings and written details. I have recommended this firm to others. If you are looking to replace or update a kitchen and want a company that is always there for you and easy to reach, this is the firm!”

“Regarding communications with this business: The online chat option provided me with the introductory information I was seeking about a vanity cabinet. Some emails but not all e-mails received a response. Phone calls helped to clarify issues that needed an immediate response. The cabinet arrived in a timely manner. During a pre-installation check one door was discovered to be warped which required a description of the issue and photo to be e-mailed to provide substantiation for a warranty item request to replace the door. A new door was received in 3 days which was a great response time. The door was installed and functioned as expected. The cabinet pulls took 3 weeks to arrive as they were lost by the U.S. Mail then found. The issue took a phone call from me to inquire about the item and from that point the FLC representative tracked down the item and kept me informed via e-mail as the mystery unfolded. Being informed of that status was appreciated which prevented me from having to call repeatedly to find out the status of the package. I would give 5 stars for the communication's with this company. I would give 3.5 stars for the product (cabinet) quality because of the door issue, also one of the inner corner supports could not be secured because the screw holes were stripped (once the counter top was installed this was not an issue). Also the slides that the drawer is mounted on float from left to right which which has the potential to permit rubbing against the installed sink depending on how the drawer is closed. I have a granite top with a rectangle sink. The soft close mechanism's worked as expected. Overall the product is worth the price listed for a vanity cabinet but I would hesitate to order their kitchen cabinets as those would be exposed to more use in that environment and my concern would be the long term reliability and how well the finishes hold up. It would be good to see a review from 3-5 years after the product was installed in a kitchen.”
