“We didn't end up hiring John Canty, but we probably should have! Our house is in need of a full gut job. John was very helpful and knowledgeable when he came in to look at our house. We ended up hiring another contractor, who we have since fired, because he worked with a friend a friend of ours. We should have known that you need to mesh with your GC and create good communication lines with them -- we learned quickly that just because a GC worked well with someone you know, it doesn't mean they'll work well with you! John was very upfront and honest about the costs and quality of the job we'd get, and we should have trusted our gut instinct to hire him! It's been 4 months and we're still waiting to get started on our house.”

“Kristin helped us design both our kitchen and master bath while building our new house. We came to her with some preliminary ideas which she took and refined with us, challenging us to think of many elements we had not considered. Our design was somewhat complex with a number of challenging architectural elements to work around and she took those all in consideration very effectively. Perhaps what we appreciated most was the way she worked with a particular cabinet supplier that allowed us to purchase very high quality cabinets (Conestoga) for significantly less than other cabinet manufacturers by buying them as kits and assembling them ourselves (or with our carpenters). We estimate that the $20,000 we spent on the cabinets would have easily cost double if they came pre-assembled. However, this required Kristen to very carefully order all the right components to make sure everything fit; she even took the time to teach us how to build them herself. Our kitchen gets rave reviews from everyone who visits and we find it highly functional and pleasant to cook and entertain in, having been there now over a year. As a final mark of success, the kitchen was chosen by Netflix to be in the set for an upcoming series that will air in 2019 and will be in 6 or 7 different episodes!”

“Jason Hammer built a major addition to our home in Gloucester and did a great job in a timely manner at a competitive price. Near the end of the project he acquired Pope Cabinets where his true passion lies. One of the major reason for the addition was to add storage to a house built originally as summer home. As such, cabinetry and built in storage were a major piece of the project. A big piece of the addition was a large family room. In that room he incorporated an existing cabinet and expanded it 3X to beautifully accommodate our needs efficiently and economically. He also built a kitchen island that filled our wish list and blended in perfectly with the existing cabinets. The result was a far more functional kitchen with and esthetically perfect island. He also outfitted the Master bedroom closet fitting in the long list needs into the available space for a good price. Finally, Jason is a pleasure to work with and has followed up with little things well after the last bill was paid. My wife and I recommend him highly.”
