“I hired Robert to replicate an interior door with a couple requested changes, and it turned out great! My house was built in 1928 with very nice multiple level molding single panel doors. I have two cats and wanted to relocate the litter box to the basement, and so I needed to install a pet door, but I knew I would butcher the door if I did it myself. I also wanted the door to be longer as we are taking out the thick carpet and refinishing the hardwood floors, and the bottom gap from the current door would be too large. I called several places for quotes on the project, 4 responded. Two were insanely expensive, at $2k and $4k for the project. Robert's price at $530 was right inline with the 4th quote, but he was more responsive and I liked his website showcasing past work. Robert was easy to work with and quickly understood what I was looking for. He was flexible with evening pickup and delivery times, allowing me to not miss work. When he delivered the door, he quickly made the modifications needed to have the new door fit fit in the old, non-square frame. I'd highly recommend him and have attached some pictures for comparison (old door is painted).”

“I first brought Boxco into the project to help me figure out how I could get more counter space and keep the same small footprint of the kitchen It was a joy working with Gallagher who listened and came up with elegant solutions for my space.Once I could see the possibility of more counter space. it was clear I needed to redo the 40+ year old kitchen which Boxco guided me through from start to finish. Gallagher is efficient, knowledgeable, clear, not afraid to offer suggestions and a pleasure to work with. It was the same with Dave who spent more or less a week installing the cabinets and creating the spaces for the appliances. He is a fine craftsman, works patiently, systematically and very considerate. I love my new kitchen! the cabinets are beautiful - finely crafted and so easy to use. The finish on the cabinets and color are pleasing.”

“Derek constructed new front steps for my 100+ year old home. I LOVE my new steps. He did an awesome job. Very professional, on time for renovation, kept to the budget. Gave me fantastic ideas and variations of the steps. He did such a great job that I had him refinish my back porch with blue stone steps and railing. I'm planning on using Derek in the near future.”

“3 minutes ago We bought a house in late September and like most new homeowners we wanted to do some updating to our new home. The kitchen is the heart of a home, is where we get nourishment and congregate. So we decided to start with the kitchen, of course. Then we went back and forth with our options: A Brand new kitchen with new cabinets $$$$$, cabinet refacing $$$, or cabinet refinishing $$. Blessed that we had good cabinets in our new home and an existing good layout to the kitchen, we decided to go with the least expensive option. We were lucky enough to find Brennan and the team at Classic Cabinet Refinishers for our remodel. From the very beginning the whole process was seamless and spot on. They stuck to their quote, no surprises or hidden charges. They stuck to their timeline and finished on the exact day they said they would. Most importantly they delivered what was promised! A beautiful professionally done kitchen not one penny over budget. I couldn’t recommend these guys enough. I wish every contractor was as transparent and honorable. We’ve been burn a little with different contractors in other projects, so to know that there are still honest professionals out there that work with integrity it’s a breath of fresh air. “We had Pawling Closets design and install cabinetry in a very large walk-in in our master br. They did a really nice job and we're very glad we had them do it. I considered the diy options, and I do most things myself so I am certainly capable. I did all the prep (remove old shelving, spackle, paint) on the closet before the install. But the quality is much better and custom fit is a lot nicer than what is available from the sellers of modular dyo stuff. We put the closet makeover in the category of a kitchen/bath improvement, as something that is going to matter in a resale. The design came out perfect, snug right to the window trim as planned, and the installers were very neat, not marking the newly painted walls. They run a good operation, and are not one of the contractors that you call and don't always hear from and can't depend on. Design was quick, and the delivery was a few weeks later once the materials came in. They promptly installed, checked up, and kept us well informed along the way. Five stars from us!!!”
