“My husband and I decided to downsize and purchase a condo. Our new condo did not have sufficient storage space so we decided to put in closet organizers in the flex room. We had received a quote from another company when my husband heard about Stor-x through the Home Show. We provided a rough sketch of what we would like for the flex room and received an initial quote from Stor-x which was less than half the price of the other company. After speaking with Gerry a few times to go over what we required for the space we finally met when he came to check final measurements after we moved into the condo . It was great to meet Gerry and I enjoyed being able to oversee tweaking some of the measurements for the storage space as we had obstacles to overcome (fuse box & shut off valves). I quickly understood how important final measurements are. I was pleased with the final drawings and the quote went down in price. The day arrived for the delivery and installation of the storage system. The installer, David Ginter, arrived earlier than expected and quickly went about getting organized. He was very professional and I felt relaxed enough to sit on my deck reading a book while David installed the units. The finished product was beyond what I thought it would be and the cleanup was amazing. You would not have known that the storage unit wasn't already there. The overall experience was great. “I hired Arbutus to create my master walk-in closet as well as my kitchen pantry. I love LOVE love the design and quality. I'm very happy with the finished product and the price was reasonable. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that their communication was a bit lacking. I was in the dark as to when my installation would be scheduled, and when I called the man that answered the phone was short and snappy.”

“Wendy was awesome in her organization of our kitchen pantry! What started out as chaos, ended up having custom built shelves that fit perfectly in our double wide mobile home. In addition to creating the perfect shelving unit for our pantry, she also had an attachment for mops/brooms, etc so that everything was just in the right spot! She works great with the older population and is very patient and explains everything! I really like that our donations went to good causes. That was very important to my mom (who is close to 80) as she wanted to be sure that her gently used items were given good homes. It's harder for older adults to have change and move things around, but Wendy was sensitive to that and provided lots of opportunities for my mom to keep whatever she needed and she helped her get rid of things she just wouldn't use anymore. I give Wendy 5 stars and we already have plans to work on my office/sewing room and outdoor shed!”
