We decided to get the motorized retractable that comes with an easily mounted remote (great for keeping out of reach of our little ones hands).. The motorization is great for when we are indoors and want to shade the area where our large sliding door is. We also decided to get the wind control; which has been great for our home since it tends to get a good gust of wind on occasion back there. We've already spent much more time sitting out on our patio than what we did before the awning. It's been a great addition to our home visually and functionally; we couldn't be happier.”
