Pacific Crest Interiors

I was reading through a friends Houzz listing recently and came across an old familiar name. Christian Delp of Pacific Crest Interiors designed the entire inside of My Palm Desert home some eight years ago, at that time he was affiliated with another company, San Diego Rustic. We got quite a laugh really as my girlfriend also knew of Christian. We still regularly get compliments on the house. He did such a wonderful job. My husband, Howard and I have recommended him many times through the years. Howard still had his number listed in his contacts so we gave him a call. As it turns out he has now ventured out on his own and has a furniture store not far from where he used to be. We haven’t been there yet, but hope to visit next time we get to San Diego. He designed our Desert home in a Spanish style that fit the architecture. His tastes are impeccable. I can hardly wait to see what new treasures he’s acquired. Christian Delp is a genius!!! My husband Pat and I have never seen eye to eye when it comes to style and design. I grew up in New England where I developed a taste for the more traditional. Pat is from Chicago. His tastes veer more toward the modern, which I think can be cold and uninviting. We moved into a Mediterranean style house in San Diego in 2005 and the battle hasn’t stopped since. That is until a friend recommended we call Christian Delp, a designer they had worked with in the past. To be honest, I was skeptical. The only exposure I’d ever had to design professionals was on HGTV, and most of them seemed to be condescending or arrogant; Christian was neither. I was amazed at how quickly he was able to grasp the conflict that had plagued my husband and I thus far. Within minutes he informed us that there was a middle ground. He called it contemporary transitional. Pat and I still use the phrase to describe our new style. I would never have guessed that Contemporary was different than modern or that Transitional was different than traditional. In eight weeks from start to finish, Christian transformed our house and our lives. I would recommend Christian to anyone who has thought about hiring a professional but was afraid that they would lose control and end up with a style not their own. Christian helped us to find a style that suits both my husband and me. 5 stars

Christian of Pacific Crest Interiors is an amazing interior designer who transformed our 70's style home into a contemporary masterpiece. Christian completely understood our style and was extremely fun to work with throughout the entire project. Whenever the project became stressful (as home projects always do), Christian was right there to reassure us that everything was going to turn out great--which it did. He also picked out select pieces from his store, Pacific Crest Interiors, to compete the design concept. The pieces he picked are incredible. Specifically, he selected a gorgeous buffet, a 10-seater dining room table, and a rustic coffee table with storage space. The pieces look like they belong on the front page of a magazine. He also picked a breathtaking rustic chandelier and had couches made just for us. Seriously, our house went from nice to amazing. Every day we come home, we feel proud to be homeowners!! If you are looking for a designer who can capture your style and make it into a masterpiece, Christian is your man. And if you want unique, beautiful furniture that you can't find in your run-of-the-mill store or catalog, Pacific Crest Interiors is the store.
