“We have purchased two artworks from AH. Alex Puddy, the proprietor, has a great eye and they are both wonderful pieces of sculpture. The larger, a modern abstract steel work by Jon Isherwood was to serve as the centre piece for the courtyard of a new housing project in London [we were the architects and developers]. Alex was fantastic, in finding the work in the first place [another story!] and then arranging transport to the restorers, collection from the restorers and then delivery and installation at the site. Throughout the whole process Alex was cheerful, enthusiastic and knowledgable. Alex has very wide interests in art, interiors and garden design. The smaller work, a rarely available 'swimmer' by the neglected 1950 - 60's artist Ralph Brown was purchased personally and has given me great pleasure over the years. “We're delighted with our 'Spa' bird table! I've been looking for a while for a bird table that is a sculptural garden feature in it's own right and has more of a contemporary feel, so the 'Spa' model fits the bill perfectly. I particularly like the combination of bird bath, feeder and weathervane. The customer service was great, very prompt replies to my emails. The delivery service was also very good and bang on schedule. Every component was beautifully and cleverly packaged. The piece is very well made and the stone base is a great advantage as we can get some high winds on our 3rd floor balcony. My husband assembled it pretty quickly and found it easy enough, although he needed two adjustable spanners apparently. He thought a version in black would have worked better, but I like the bottle green finish - it works well with the very entertaining bright green parakeets we have here. The other local birds have quickly found the table - and it's going to be even more of a delight to watch them now. All in all a great product and an excellent service! Thank you!”
