We believe that trust in you contractor is the most important thing and can honestly say that we had an overall fantastic experience. We first met with Paul Macero in late 2016. Paul took a lot of time to work with us and our architect to ensure we were getting the design and flow that we were looking for. Paul brought to the table creative and solid suggestions for design and layout. This time was put into our project before they were even awarded the job. The work proposal that followed was transparent and easy to follow concerning the scope of the project, materials that would be used, allowances and timelines. The areas we went over budget in were due to upgrades in material (such as the kitchen budget) or additional millwork that we requested. Throughout the project itself, the whole team had great communication, provided good ideas about where we could save money versus where it was worth to really invest in, and managed all the sub-contractors so we did not need to micro-manage the project or deal with schedules, delays, deliveries or oversight of the sub-contractor's work. The team's millwork (custom woodwork or built-ins) are beautiful and well constructed. We relied a lot on their suggestions for design and are extremely pleased with how everything turned out. No detail was overlooked. Deadlines within their control were met and the project finished in a reasonable time frame. Finally, quality of work, craftsmanship and worker's integrity are outstanding.
