“We hired Dave and his wife to do our remodel for us. The scope of work was to replace all the floors, install a new 200A panel, replace all existing aluminum wire with brand new electrical wire, remodel the kitchen, remodel a bathroom and partially remodel two other bathrooms. We also painted and decorated throughout. I met Dave through his wife who is an Interior Designer that I have worked with in the past on about 6-8 other projects. I knew her style and loved it and was hoping I would do the same with Dave. I also knew that my wife is a tough customer and both Dave and Lisa would have to have a lot of patience in explaining different options, timelines and expectations of the end result. I am also a contractor myself working in a similar industry (Home Automation) so Dave would have to deal with me as well. We moved forward with Dave and BCS constuction and couldn't be happier with the result. We have had several unsolicited compliments about how beautiful the inside of our home is now. Thanks guys!!!”

“Or is the best contractor we've ever worked with. We found Or via yelp. Since he is close to our house and his team had pretty good reviews, we thought to give him a try. We are so glad we found him! Or is very kind, hard-working, expert on what he does and gives reasonable price for the job. We have worked with Or on two major projects in the past year, replacing old insulation in the attic and bathroom remodel. We are very satisfied with his work. He and his team were always on time for the job and cleaned up at the end of the day. We had dealt with contractors who simply disappeared for days without communication. Or always answered his phone or returned our call in a timely manner. He has a great personality, a big heart and easy-going. We look forward to working with him on our next house project in Pacifica.”

“We are recent retirees from the University of California, and hired South Coast Shoreline Construction to do the first major remodel of our home in the Turtle Rock area of Irvine. The work covered over half the house including both interior and exterior work. We are quite attentive to details, and we were very focused on the quality of materials and workmanship. In the planning stage, Taylor Helm was collaborative with us and our designer and offered many excellent suggestions that we are glad we adopted. He has a designer's eye that he utilized throughout this project with respect to both larger and smaller details (e.g., swapping out a glass slider for a French door in our study; having a wooden valence built rather than using a standard fabric valence). In the work phase, we found that Taylor had an outstanding crew of his own plus excellent subcontractors with whom he has very good working relationships. With all the crafts and trade involved in this remodel, Taylor had very high standards for the workers' performance, standards that were communicated clearly and respectfully, and which were then met. In a few instances where a third party supplier attempted to veer off schedule, we appreciated the energy and passion that Taylor brought to bear to stay on schedule. Taylor visited our home daily, was always reachable by phone or email, and was responsive to our questions and concerns. There were no surprises in the budgeting process. When unforeseen major problems arose (e.g., a slab leak), he solved the problems without missing a beat as was true for handling minor problems (e.g, wrong delivery of a toilet). We "camped" in part of our house while the work proceeded and appreciated that Taylor and his crew were respectful and helpful in working around us. We are delighted with the finished results of our remodel, and we strongly recommend Taylor as an outstanding, experienced contractor and as an engaging person with whom to work.”

“I hired Brandon (Sawdust Construction) in 2012 to do a master bathroom remodel after two friends recommended him. He and his crew were amazingly professional, prompt and clean. Plus, he stayed within his estimate, did not get upset when I had last minute changes and even added some design advice (“You can vault the ceiling to give the room a bigger feel”). One of Brandon’s greatest attributes is his attention to detail. He noticed one of the cabinets had a nick on the top corner. He had the whole thing replaced even though I didn’t notice it at all. In 2013, I hired Brandon to extend my two decks and put in a hot tub. In our city, the City Manager has to approve every small change you do to your house. Brandon was very patient in working with the city, submitting plans, pulling appropriate permits, etc. When we finally got our plans approved, our deck was built and hot tub installed with no issues whatsoever. Brandon’s work ethic, as well as his team’s, is superb and I will not hesitate to hire him again.”

Sam is the best!! We’re very picky about every last detail and found that Double Tiger Construction does an excellent job of creating world-class luxury remodeling and construction. Sam gives incredibly detailed schedules for each project and lives up to the schedule by the day, which makes sure that your project is done on time. Double Tiger Construction also has an exhaustive list of trust-worthy vendors with specific contacts that give you incredibly valuable guidance on who you should meet with to buy the best amenities. The communication with Sam is fast and reliable, so they’re able to address any last-minute modifications or concerns you might have. Double Tiger Construction might not be the cheapest contractor in SGV, but they are the best and you definitely get more than what you pay for from the final result.”
