“Fabulous company to work with. Very honest, loyal, punctual and CLEAN. Helped with design ideas and provided samples of materials. Coordinated all tradespeople to do their part as needed in a timely manner. Had the same 2 workmen on site at all times. They quickly did the demolition of the ground level of my 4-level split and followed with prepping the floors and walls for rebuilding. They dry walled, painted, laid two types of flooring (vinyl and laminate) and replaced the baseboards. They were true artists and took great care and pride in their workmanship paying incredible attention to details. In the end, they completely renovated the back hall closet, the two-piece powder room, the kitchen, the dining room and the upper level family room. I would recommend HAMMERDOWN to anyone and everyone in a heartbeat!”

“My wife & I hired I-Can Construction & Renovation to build our new home for us. We learned about I-Can through my parents, who had hired them to finish their basement. And we chose I-Can to build our house because of the quality work that they had done for my parents and the personal service that you get when dealing with a smaller company. What we also received was a custom building experience that you don't get with many home building companies. We were able to pick all of the finishes throughout the house, from basically anything that was available on the market, as opposed to having to choose between 2 or 3 "standard" finishes. The owner of the company, Ryan, was excellent to deal with. He is friendly, knowledgable, honest and trustworthy... as were the rest of his staff. Ryan is definitely a perfectionist, he insists that everything is done properly, and his attention to detail is amazing. The entire building process went very smoothly, with only a few delays/setbacks (which should be expected with any construction project). However when issues did occur we were extremely impressed with the manner in which they were dealt with; Ryan contacted us promptly, explained the problem to us, and offered solutions. The attitude displayed was "here's the problem, here's why this is a problem, and here's the options for fixing the problem"... straight forward, to the point, and honest. My wife and I really appreciated that. We had a fantastic building experience, we have nothing but good things to say about Ryan & I-Can, and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. “We needed to increase our living space to accommodate elderly parents who were moving in with us. We chose to give them our master bedroom and ensuite on the main level and build a second floor addition over the garage. This new addition would become our oasis. It includes a spacious bedroom with an alcove office space, a walk in closet and ensuite. We also combined the two smaller bedrooms on the main floor and made a nice size private sitting room along with space for a much needed mudroom. Including the mudroom in our build allowed us to move the washer and dryer from downstairs to the main floor. We are extremely pleased with the end result. It was a pleasure working with Warren and his team as the project was completed in a timely manner and the workmanship is excellent.”

“We worked with Curtis and Sharayah Moffat of Alair Homes to do an extensive reno of our 20 year old home which included gutting the kitchen and putting in all new cabinets, an island and a much larger window/door unit to the backyard. 3 bathrooms were gutted with all new vanities, fixtures, toilets and tubs. We also added a full wall cabinet and counter unit in the rear entrance/laundry room. In the family room we put in a custom desk & entertainment cabinet and re-did the fireplace. The whole process was very transparent with no surprises and we're very pleased with the finished product. They emphasized the design and selection process up front. They introduced us to designer Lisa Clark who came up with a great concept. Well worth the investment to hire a designer. A small expense in the big picture but it greatly enhanced the final product. The entire design and selections were done up front so we knew exactly what our costs and the schedule would be before signing the build contract. There were only very minor surprises during the build and the schedule was exactly as promised (10 wks). The trades they recommended were top notch with high quality results. Curtis and Sharayah were even pickier than we were so the end result was excellent. No worries about corners being cut. We highly recommend them for any renos or new builds.”
