Tradesgenie contracting renovated my 2 bed 3 bedroom house. A renovation is a lot more involved than I had initially thought. Joe is a very friendly guy who is always honest about what the work needed is going to be. The finished product turned out great.

We hired Trades Genie to refinish the floor in the studio. We opted for a cement-like finish and they ended up pouring (a lot of) self-levelling cement which they sealed with epoxy - It looks amazing and we couldn't be happier with the finish and the durability.

I hired TradesGenie Contracting for bathroom renovations and floor replacement, along with a slew of jobs. Joe Tighe worked with me to meet the strata’s strict requirements, which was quite taxing. Despite his easy going manner, he’s serious about the company’s quality of work and client’s satisfaction. TradesGenie crew provided good service with a flexible approach. My family hired Joe and his team to completely renovate our condo in downtown Vancouver. Although the project took longer than expected, we are more than pleased with the results! We have a completely new space now and are very pleased with the suggestions Joe made to creating a modern yet cozy space. In addition, Joe and his team were very conscious of making the space livable during the renovation, so my sister and I were able to stay for the majority of the project. We would recommend Joe to anyone!

Joe is an excellent all around handyman, great at dealing with any unique challenge on a comprehensive range of household issues. He's also personable, forthright and, especially, trustworthy. And his quotes are reasonable and accurate. He's a busy guy, though, sometimes handling multiple projects, so if your project is time sensitive, I'd suggest being upfront about your time needs. He will definitely do his best to accommodate.

Joe was great! We had a long list of different things we needed to fix up on our home. He came by to do an estimate. Then when we hired him, he came the next week, and did everything on the list. There were no hassles. He's very calm and happy to explain what he plans to do and why. Where he ran into difficulties because parts were harder than expected, he just went ahead and did it and let us know what happened. He didn't charge us extra for the unexpected difficulties. He did accidentally send us a bill for too much, but said it was because he was getting used to his new invoice system and corrected it. Overall he was a pleasure to work with, and did great work. Would definitely hire him again.
