“I had searched for vintage, old growth oak flooring in my area for over a year. Having found a beautiful home in Glencoe slated for demolition, I removed 800 sq ft of the vintage quarter sawn and rift sawn floors, de-nailed them and brought them home. Then came the search for the installer. I called around and had a classified ad up. Michael from Mysha's Flooring came out to bid on the job. He was professional and full of knowledgable tips for us whether we used his services or not. A great guy. His bid was not the lowest, but we felt confident in his work. So we decided to hire him. He removed the old flooring and installed the reclaimed, quickly and carefully. Always aware of surrounding areas and kept the job site clean and organized. He kept us in the loop on all phases of the job. I feel like we hit the jackpot with Michael. The floors look beautiful and full of character. He is a lovely person and a truly skilled craftsman with high standards. Would highly recommend him.”

“Dillion refinished and restored our beat up 1955 wood flooring. It is absolutely beautiful! Dillion is a true craftsman. He is also returns calls and emails very promptly and he is extremely patient. I thought I wanted to stain the floors and Dillion applied several stain options and waited patiently while I agonized for 45 minutes. He was very kind and did not offer his opinion until the very end. I would use Dillion again in a heartbeat and would highly encourage his services.”

His work quality was exceptional in installing laminate flooring in my living room and stairs. The best part is that he is very fair in his pricing so you get the best bang for your buck. “My husband and I have 3 active little boys who love basketball and we were in search of a large rug with a basketball "key" on it. We searched everywhere online for one and began looking at local stores, with no success. Then, we walked into Mayfair and they explained that they could custom make one. The sales man was so helpful that first day! He listened to what we desired and began finding samples that would work. The whole staff was very patient as I spent weeks deciding on colors and size. When it came time to purchase, my husband and I were so pleased with the affordable pricing and ease of ordering. Jeff, our sales associate, had great communication with us through the whole process, not to mention the additional staff. When we received the product (on time...over the holidays!) we were thrilled! We now have what looks like a basketball court in our basement with colors that are aesthetically pleasing. We couldn't be more pleased!”
