“I have a 1924 Tudor with a rather large fireplace that was in dire need of repair, including rebuilding the firebox, lining the flue, installing a spark arrestor, and laying new tile on the hearth. Because the house is in the process of being historically designated, I needed someone I could completely trust. Paul did an OUTSTANDING job. He worked fast and efficiently, and when we ran into challenges (like finding a spark arrestor that was period-appropriate), Paul came up with the perfect solution. The new hearth tile was handmade and costly so I was concerned about breakage, but not a single tile was damaged. The fireplace is beautiful and the hearth is stunning. In fact the biggest compliment is when people think the hearth is original. He took great care to protect the hardwood floors, furniture and walls, and the living room was cleaner when he left than when he arrived! Since it's repair, the fireplace has been a great source of joy, and I can't thank Paul enough. He has my highest recommendation.”

“AMS Fireplace provided us with three sets of beautiful handcrafted, custom, Iron fireplace doors. The customer service provided was exemplary, with responsive emails and when desired by phone. We were kept fully informed during the construction and shipping. The doors quality and craftsmanship is clear, the fit excellent. I installed the doors myself and worked very closely on the doors and inspected them thoroughly without any issues. These are truly old world, hand crafted quality and appearance. Now that they are installed we are enjoying the doors and having fires, they are beautiful and give a finished and classy look to the rooms. I have no hesitation in recommending AMS to anyone looking for a quality custom product.”

“Our house came with a pre-installed linear gas fireplace with no surround. For two years, I tried to convince myself that it was modern and that I would get used to it, but I never did. All the while, I had Studio Design Works' Malibu fireplace photo pinned to my inspiration board. I finally took the plunge a few weeks ago and called for a consultation.... BEST DECISION EVER! Wayne, the owner, responded quickly and came to discuss color and sizing options. Within days, he sent a CAD rendering along with the proposal for a custom mantel, surround, and hearth. Three weeks after accepting the estimate, Arturo and another installer arrived. They were incredibly careful and detail oriented, protecting our floors with paper and drop cloths. The amount of time Arturo spent getting every surface straight and level was heroic. The outcome was absolute perfection. My only regret...not calling Wayne two years earlier!!”
