“A year ago May I purchased a new home that was stripped to the studs and subfloor. It needed every kind of trade imaginable to get right. I got referred to Jonas from my awesome architect Drew Dasso. I first hired Jonas to completely reframe my entire first floor including putting in a couple pocket doors a new office some doorways and everything in between. He worked extremely hard for a couple weeks to make sure everything was exactly where it was supposed to be for my design to work. Along the way as you can imagine I encountered many other problems that came up he was more than willing to help and gave some great advice to help solve these problems. After that I had him set all my kitchen cabinets , bath vanities and crown molding which definitely needed an expert to make right. Towards the end of the project I hired him to set my doors and do all my trim carpenter needs, and let me tell you there was a lot of both. After a couple more weeks of Jonas working his tail off my project was finished April 7. As happy as I was to see him leave he was one of my favorite contractors I hired throughout this year long process. Lee Zeglin”

“Chad remodeled our whole home. He took a jacuzzi room, paneled in cedar, and extended it past our deck, and adding a new deck beyond. He also dug under our old jacuzzi, making a full storage room and a downstairs library. The new family room has six skylights and twelve tall windows, so it's light and airy. Paneled in beautiful cedar, it's our favorite room. The downstairs has become a complete bedroom suite with a kitchen, library. and storage room. It's sufficient to say sixteen years later, we're still singing Chad's praises in both design and execution. He has our highest recommendation.”

“This was a substantial, whole-house remodel (keeping the same footprint) to make a very quirky, dark home on a gorgeous wooded hill into a light and airy rustic-modern home to live in the rest of my life. We went down the design and contractor path with a number of people (for a number of years) before finally coming back to Mark Hoerr and his architect/designer Seth Luginbuhl. I cannot say enough good things about the process with Mark and Seth that got us a final design. Now we are in the thick of the remodel, and cannot say enough good things about the carpenters and other tradespeople. They are extremely talented, diligent and hardworking, responsive and respectful, and all-around a pleasure to work with. I can't wait to upload finished photos around Christmas time, but will upload a few of the house in progress.”

His subs are first rate and he clearly has the best subs in the area on his team. “We hired McCartney Improvement Company to build our new house. The project began in November, 2011 and was completed in May, 2012. We were very pleased with the entire process and with the way the finished product turned out. Dave was involved every step of the way; helping us select a lot and design the house to putting on the finishing touches. He also ensured the project was completed by our deadline and within our budget. In my opinion, the thing that separates Dave (and his team of professionals) from other contractors in the area is the quality of work and the attention to detail. They are committed to making sure the customer is satisfied. If we decide to build a new house or do any remodeling projects in the future, I would gladly hire McCartney Improvement Company again.”
