We met extensively with Jeff and Brad (Sechrist), they were alway patient and a pleasure to work with even when we were not at our best - ( imagine how hard a project is to coordinate between two people - then add a mom / mother-in-law to that mix). The staff at Helman Sechrist was there for us throughout the project - They helped us with the bidding process, helped us pick the right builder, made sure that the house was on the lot where it should be, and even talked us through the inevitable rough spots. I cannot express how much we love our new space, how perfectly it is working for us. The spaces that we are living in are just the right size, very spacious - but still cozy; never cavernous or cold. If you want a house that fits your family and your needs - not a house that you have to fit into - Helman Sechrist is well worth the investment.”

“Mr. Barbour and his team did a great job finishing our basement. Out of an odd-shaped, cavernous area with many items to work around, they created a family room, guest-exercise room, full bath, two large closets and a workbench/storage area. The project was on time (two months) and on budget. They were knowledgeable, easy to work with, communicated with us well and respected our choices. They cleaned up the area every day they were here and kept dust to a minimum.”

After site selection designed a rustic modernist cabin that was environmentally conscious and leveraged the views and available light. Was a great process from the beginning. “We wanted to replace the carpet on the ground floor of our house with wood flooring. Mike Belzowski came highly recommended. He answered all of our questions, was on time, and he did an absolutely beautiful job installing the Brazilian cherry flooring in our living room and dining room. He noticed that there was a dip in our living room, so he leveled the floor so that the wood flooring would be level as well. Each day, he would clean up the site so that we could still have a livable space while the job was ongoing. At the end of the job, he hauled away all the trash and left our house spotless. I cannot recommend Belzowski Woodwork & Design highly enough.”
