“We worked with Gail to design our house in Annapolis. She was very professional and listened to our ideas to create that unique feel for our home. im very pleased with her work - materials she used (paint) was not toxic, and her design was very intuitive. I can say that our renovated home has that great energy flow feel. We love it and our dogs live it too!!! Hopefully will work with Gail on our house in Florida too!!!! Thank you, Julia and Ron”

Fairfax Design Solutions

“Planning for my later years with increasing physical diminishment, I used the building and design team of FAIRFAX DESIGN SOLUTIONS (Martha Fecteau and Sam Scott)) to undertake an extensive ‘Aging in Place’ remodel of my cherished home of 43 years. The remodel includes an additional powder room on main floor, creating a large master bedroom by removing a wall between 2 bedrooms, creating a large, extraordinary master bath with a 5x6 curb-less shower that includes a folding teak bench, moving W/D from basement up next to bedroom, and creating a beautiful office with built in cabinets in the old dining room. All suggested ADA/ fall prevention improvements were incorporated. Both Martha and Sam were terrific to work with. They drew on years of experience and collaboration, pulling together tremendous skill and craftsmanship in the design and execution of the project. They creatively grappled with modifications provoked by the nature of my 1955 house. They both have steady, calming personas. They were incredibly patient and accommodating to health challenges of my own during construction. Martha brought all products to me to choose from, saving me a lot of time and energy. Sam was on the project everyday — either managing the skilled laborers he brought in to do the plumbing, electricity, dry wall, tiling, etc. or crafting himself some beautiful, original wainscoting to dress up the new hallway. Martha and Sam’s reassuring skill, creativity, thoughtfulness and integrity made the remodel a blessing in every way. Marilu, McLean, VA”

“We moved into our home and needed to design and paint almost every room. I work full time and my husband has no interest in these decisions. This just added to my already too long "To do" list. Carol was great! She knew I was overwhelmed and sat down with me to understand my tastes and what I wanted to do. She did not rush me but gently kept me moving forward. She transformed my bland home into a home I love. A home with beautiful colors, wonderful furniture and fixtures. One that I love to spend time in and entertain in. She really was my therapist!”

Victor Liberatore Interior Design
Handicap-Accessible Design Companies in Baltimore
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsDecember 10, 2012
“Victor has helped me with several remodeling/interior design projects over the past 8 years. From small to large projects, all were beautiful and continue to receive compliments from visitors to my home. The biggest remodeling project even won some awards and was written up in a few area publications. Victor is everything you want in an interior designer: talented, creative, knowledgeable, artistic, caring, responsive, good humored, diplomatic with contractors and a great person. And unlike many designers, he listens to what YOU like and how YOU want your space to feel. Then he makes it happen, but it's better than anything you could have imagined. I am a very big fan and think you would be, too.”

“Amanda was great to work with on my historic home kitchen renovation... She and her team designed a functional layout and helped me find the perfect cabinet color. She spent many hours selecting appliances, lighting and accessories that met my approval and budget. She was able to incorporate several of my favorite furniture pieces into her design and the result is awesome! Highly recommend”

“I have worked with Capital Design for the past 20 years. Their ability to listen to me and my vision for a space and then interpret and elevate my aesthetic is nothing short of magic. No space is too large or too small for their problem solving and creative abilities. Capital Design has consistently come in on time and on budget over the years. “Kaila is wonderful! She listens to your ideas and concerns. She provides multiple choices for every item and then develops concept boards so you can see how everything comes together. She never rushes you into making a decision. She’s also careful to provide choices within the budget you’ve established. It is definitely a real pleasure working with Kaila. I can’t recommend her high enough.”
