Most important she was quick to adapt to OUR style of being laid back and casual. She has a tremendous network of contractors who provided great service and, in many cases, much better prices than we were finding on our own. This was a huge benefit and saved us thousands of dollars for major purchases like flooring, tile, hardware and lighting fixtures. She saw that I needed her to help navigate between the sometimes very different tastes that my husband and I have so that we could get the tasteful and comfortable home we wanted. Working with her over the course of 6 months we developed a method of communicating ideas using icloud albums where we would post photos and add comments. It became very useful if either of us were online shopping or in a store. It was great to have someone who was so adaptive to my style. When the house was finished and it came time to actually decorating she had some terrific ideas for using our existing art, my favorite is how she wanted to hang my husband's 2 propellers from the pine tongue-and-groove ceiling so they suspended just off the wall parallel to the log stairs leading to the loft. This was SO much cooler than his previous solution of propping them next to the fireplace! She had several of these great ideas. I would recommend Julie to anyone and I look forward to a long friendship with her!”

I am talking about such things like bath or kitchen counters, tiling techniques, painting techniques all things that matters a lot in both the cost and the appearance of your project. Another element about Deann that we truly enjoy is that she is extremely communicative, and listens. She will let you make decisions and you are in the driver's seat if you would like. She does not need to have it her way but you feel safe that she will let you know if something is not right. She has been very reliable all the way and also as the need came up for us to be out of town during the building process for the last 3 months of construction, she was my eyes, looking it over and I trusted her that it would look exactly like we envisioned.
