We needed help in finalizing color design for new kitchen cabinets and flooring. We already knew the countertype we wanted as well as the paint color. Rachel came to our house for a 1.5 quick action session. It was amazing! Using her phone, Rachel gave us a visual sense of what different options would look like. She pointed out things to consider that could save costs and was constantly worked to ensure our needs were being met. We can now go confidently into the final stages of design and purchasing. Shannon at Seriously Happy Homes really helped me to focus and make decisions about my renovating goals in a 60 minute Zoom meeting. We just moved into a new home and decisions about paint color, flooring, and furniture were overwhelming for me. I was impressed with the whole SHH process. They asked me to share some photos from Houzz that appealed to me; that alone helped me focus on what I wanted. I was asked to decide on the questions I wanted to ask during the Zoom session. I shared the house floor plan and SHH even looked up the house listing so that they could see photos of my current interiors. During our Zoom meeting, Shannon was so prepared . I appreciated how she explained and narrowed down the things I should think about. I left not just with a list of items and colors to use, but a real understanding of how I should approach my project. From paint to furniture arrangements, in one hour I was able to make a lot of big decisions with Shannon's help. I told friends later that it was the best money I ever spent on interior decorating.

We had a great experience in our 90 minute consult with Rachel. The initial issue that I wanted advice on was an upholstery project for two couches. Re-upholstering is not cheap so I did not want to make a big mistake! Once I had distilled my questions, I realized we could likely cover a lot more than the upholstery project. I was right! Once we settled the fabric decision and discussed changes to cushions, we had time to talk about pulling the family room look together without spending a lot of money. I had a lot of ideas to start from, and Rachel weeded some out and gave advice on others. These including updating the fireplace, moving some furniture around, moving pictures, colors for pillows, and ideas for curtains. My daughter was there to take notes and ask questions. She remarked that Rachel gave us several ideas that "we would never have come up with on our own"! I am very glad I made the most of the consultation by thinking about the issues and potential solutions in advance. The consultation was well worth the money!

Rebecca and her crew at SHH turned a potentially stressful situation into a dream experience. In early 2021 we decided to finally pull the trigger on a gut renovation of our kitchen and both bathrooms. The best design team ever. We hired Rebecca and company over the summer to come up with a design for our kitchen, master and guest baths. From the very beginning we knew we made the right decision to spend the money on their talents. From the beginning to the end, all worked like a charm. We ended up with a comprehensive report which included graphics of the design, floor plans for the general contractor and an index of each item included as well as names of suppliers and links to their website. It was time to replace the 15 year old furniture in a number of rooms, and instead of pulling our usual "look at West Elm/Crate & Barrel/IKEA catalogs to find inspiration and then haphazardly mimic the look," we sprung for a Seriously Happy Homes package to make sure the money we were about to invest in furniture would deliver a sensational result. I enjoyed the Quick Action session with Rachel and we got so much done! I was relaxed because I noticed that she was never judgy about anything while still giving me solid guidance on my long list of goals. She accomplished this by asking questions, telling me about resources and pulling lots of paint chips out of her bag of tricks. I moved forward with the paint colors she endorsed and it's looking good! I have lots of other decorating ideas to act on now. Well worth the money.

We enjoyed our QA session with Rachel, got to discuss SO much, and I left the experience feeling more comfortable with my redecoration/remodel plan. She was clear in what to expect from our time when she came in, gave good feedback and brought more detailed recommendations than I was expecting (distance from walls she recommends the lighting to be placed, the shade of paint for a particular room decided with samples). Besides being a gifted designer, I think Rebecca's gift is putting words to what you are thinking. We've had vague ideas about our design choices and pulled together samples and she was able to laser in on the common threads and articulate the look & feel we wanted, but didn't know how to say. I was stuck on a design problem for my bathroom remodel and needed help. Solution: the virtual (and aptly named for my situation!) "Design Helpline" session. It was efficient, helpful, and fun! It was exactly the service I was looking/hoping for.

Working with Rebecca was "seriously" a great idea. My husband and I embarked on what feels like a whole home remodel, starting with the kitchen. We had planned out/designed our kitchen, but had no idea how to pull together the rest of the house as well as our new master bath. Enter Seriously Happy Homes and Rebecca. Over a series of collaborative meetings, Rebecca helped us to identify our "styles" and really come up with some great ideas that blended what we were looking for and create a clean, colorful, bright space to live and entertain. We're still in process of wrapping up the kitchen and will then implement the whole house design.
